We cannot wait to arrive in beautiful Bolivia for our annual meet up with our makers. La Paz is such a vibrant and exciting city – a truly unique mix of the traditional and modern where business people suited and booted rub shoulders with women selling fruit in their traditional bowler hats, large skirts and colourful shawls. It is full of colourful market places, pollution, orange juice vendors, shoe shine boys, passionate protests and marches, street performers and of course beautiful knitwear. We are always buzzing when we get there – feeling the effects of the altitude ( La Paz is the highest capital city in the world) and excited by the prospect of bringing to life the new range with our makers. The trip is an essential part of what we do. We sit down with our makers, catch up on how the year has been, share stories, food and ideas for the coming year. There’s always plenty to catch up on! Here’s some shots from last year.
