It has been a little while since our last instalment…..but that doesn’t mean we have been resting on our laurels! In June we travelled to the eye-wateringly magnificent Istanbul with an idea in mind for our summer collection. Here we weaved through the chaotic and colourful Grand Bazaar to the cries of market sellers beckoning us in, and with the aroma of strong coffee and delectable Turkish treats (which we indulged in frequently) all around us. We had the good fortune to meet some incredibly skilled artisans and after a few (coffee-fuelled) days of searching we discovered some traditional cotton Turkish craft of exceptional quality. Our summer selection consists of 100% cotton hamman towels, bedspreads and teatowels in a range of gorgeous colours and designs.
